What is Fascial Counterstrain?
Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) is one of the most gentle yet powerful hands-on techniques that can potentially relieve pain and lack of motion.
Results will vary for everyone, but typically patients may notice significant relief in pain and better functioning in as little as one to two treatments.
Improving Function, Reducing Pain
Below is an example of a patient who sustained a serious left hip injury from a fall (photo 1). Treatment started in photo 2, and each treatment was 24-48 hours apart. This treatment consisted of four sessions utilizing fascial counterstrain. This patient experienced very little pain during his recovery. Results will vary from person to person.
